Do We have To Stand Alone?

by Barks and Rants on Aug.01, 2015, under Agent Orange

I am happy to see that more and more awareness on how Agent Orange has affected the grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans. The Toxic Exposure Act of 2015 is HUGE progress! However, as my father was a civilian working with U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV), and my mother was also a civilian working with the US government…where does that leave my family? There doesn’t seem to be any organization that will stand up for our rights. What team will help us to get help for my children, who I believe are suffering from the generational affects of Agent Orange? Who do I tell my story to? Who’s on my side helping to fight for my children? We are alone, and the sadness and hopelessness is overwhelming.

If this is true… There goes our parental rights!

by Barks and Rants on Aug.01, 2015, under Parents' Rights, Protect Our Rights!, Vaccines

I can not confirm (yet) that this voicemail was legitimately left by an administrator of Rochester General Hospital. I always start out skeptical when I hear or read something, and I like to have solid sources before stating something as fact. However, the story is that the below voicemail was left regarding Rochester General Hospital’s policy regarding the Vitamin K shot.

Assuming this voicemail is legitimate, and the hospital really will seize your child, if you refuse certain shots and procedures, our rights are just getting thrown out the window. My anger, sadness, and fear goes to the top when I hear cases like these.

Here is the voicemail:

This case reminds me of the 2012 Jodi Ferris case at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Her baby was taken because she questioned the vitamin K shot, and said that she wanted the heb B vaccine for her baby, only if her or her husband tested positive for the disease. You can read about her case here Thank you HSLDA for taking that case! Everytime we let something like this happen, we lose our rights as parents to make informed decisions regarding our children’s health.

Please Support the Toxic Exposure Research Act of 2015

by Barks and Rants on Jul.31, 2015, under Agent Orange

Please support the Toxic Exposure Research Act of 2015! This is HUGE! It is the first time that I have seen some headway in organizations pushing the acknowledgement that grandchildren are affected by Agent Orange!

Great Job Congressman Posey!

by Barks and Rants on Jul.31, 2015, under Parents' Rights, Protect Our Rights!, Vaccines

The last time I saw Congressman Posey, he was being interviewed by Anderson Cooper. Although I appreciate that the congressman is trying to stand up for greening our vaccines etc., I have no idea what happened to him that night during the interview. I felt that he did a horrible job, and almost came out looking like a quack, which of course, is not the best thing for the vaccine cautious community.

Congressman Posey did redeem himself in my eyes.
